The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and the Office on Violence Against Women are proud to sponsor four Regional Conferences on Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange. These conferences will provide concrete practice strategies and models for incorporating the Guiding Principles into everyday practice for supervised visitation and safe exchange services that account for domestic violence. National experts will provide education on safety and security, policy development, working with men who batter, women who use violence in intimate partner relationships and custody decisions in cases of domestic violence. The conferences will highlight effective practices, offer tips and tools, provide an opportunity for networking, and inspire and invigorate participants.
Who should attend?
Conference registration is open to all supervised visitation providers, supervised visitation program directors, advocates, community partners and collaborators, government partners, judges and judicial officers, court personnel, custody evaluators, guardians at litem, batterer intervention providers, attorneys, and all other interested groups and persons.
Conference Costs
There is no conference registration fee. Once you submit your registration and it is approved, the registrar will contact you with instructions for securing lodging. Please note that you are not registered for the conference until you receive a confirmation letter.
